UPDATE: Bristol police release description of vehicle involved in Johnson Court shooting

    Bristol Virginia investigators have released the description of a vehicle they say was involved in a shooting incident at the Johnson Court housing complex earlier this week.

    The vehicle was described as a white late 1990s model Ford Explorer sport utility vehicle. The driver was a black male and the passenger was a white male, according to the report received by WCYB on Thursday.

    Preliminary information indicates the shots could have been fired from the passenger side of the SUV during the shooting that took place on Aug. 6.

    Three vehicles were struck by bullets and police also noted that the incident could be gang-related.
