UPDATE: Driver convicted in fatal Chattanooga bus crash has bond revoked

Johnthony Walker (WTVC)

Convicted Woodmore Elementary school bus driver Johnthony Walker had his bond revoked in court in Chattanooga Monday morning, after he was recently charged in Nashville with statutory rape.

Walker was not in court with his attorney, Amanda Dunn. He remains in custody in the Hill Detention Center in Davidson County, where he has been since his arrest last month.

The entire exchange at the bond hearing lasted about a minute.

Walker had been on bond since he was sentenced to six years in prison for causing the deaths of six children in a school bus crash on Talley Road on November 21st, 2016.

The bond was granted while his attorney works his appeal through the court system.

But now, he will stay behind bars until he appears in Davidson County on the aggravated rape charge.

An arrest affidavit says Walker, who is 26, had sex with a 14-year-old girl while staying with her family in Davidson County for the last few months.

According to the report, Walker admitted that he had sex with the girl five times over the course of several months.
