A Kansas woman says an act of God may have saved her life.
A bullet flew into Constance Effie's Kansas City home.
But it was stopped by this framed copy of the Lord's Prayer.
The picture was hanging just two feet above where the 70-year-old woman was sitting.
Effie says she and her husband are lucky to be alive, and they are counting their blessings.
"It hit this. And fell down behind it. But if it hadn't had the metal there. It might have came on in and hit one of us," she said.
Effie was briefly hospitalized after the shooting for what she called a minor, stress-related heart attack.
Police are investigating the shooting.
Effie says she hears gunshots in her neighborhood all the time, but does not know who's responsible.
