WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) – If you thought gas prices were dropping lately, you haven’t seen anything yet.

Gas prices dropped to one cent a gallon Tuesday night at the Circle K gas station in West Columbia, South Carolina.

An employee at the station told WACH that the change was a glitch, however. The West Columbia police also arrived on scene around 9:45 p.m. to shutdown anyone from attempting to get any more gas.

The entire event lasted about 45 minutes to an hour.
