Loyal NASCAR fans ready for Food City 500
BRISTOL, Tenn. —
Its race day here at Bristol Motor Speedway, and NASCAR fans are at the world’s fastest half mile from all over the place.

For some, its a first time experience.
“Yeah, it's her first time ever at a race.”
For others, attending the races at Bristol have become a tradition.
"It's like my fourth time I believe."
"It's about the 5th probably, we come every year for this race."
They're not letting a little rain in forecast get in the way of their fun.
"Once you're hooked, you're hooked. If it rains, it rains. We've gotten rained out I think a couple years, but we just keep coming back anyways."
"If it doesn't go on, we'll be back tomorrow definitely to watch it, we're here until the end of it."
They're not leaving until engines are hot...with food city 500 action on the track.
"It's kind of like what some people would say is from the olden ages, like a Roman Colosseum, it's rough racing, beating and banging."
