Chilhowie fans are ready for State Championship Game
Unfinished business. That's been Chilhowie High's slogan all year long.
For Warriors fans, the State Championship game can’' get here soon enough.
Many fans at Warriors Hometown Grill are fired up!
"It's very exciting,” said Michelle Batson. “We've got a lot of people across the united states rooting for them that has been here before."
Dean Teaster plans on going to the game in Salem.
"It would take a lot for me not to go."
But standing in the Warriors way is Riverheads, who took them down 42-0 last year in the championship.
"I've always got faith in these boys that they're going to win every game,” Teaster says. “But to go undefeated so far? It's just amazing. It says how much they've improved and how they work so good together."
But the key to a win?
"I think defense is going to be the number one factor,” says Tyler Grinstead. “I think it's going to be a battle of the defenses. Whoever wants it more will come out on top."
And a win Saturday would be the perfect gift under the holiday tree.
