Man identified in fatal Washington County, Va. crash
UPDATE: The man killed in a two-vehicle crash in Washington County Wednesday has been identified as 77-year-old Owen McCleod of Morristown, according to Virginia State Police.
One man is dead and another is injured following a two-vehicle crash in Lebanon Wednesday.
According to Virginia State Police, an Infinity was going north on Route 19 when a Cadillac CTS pulled out from Route 690 and across the northbound lane of Route 19 around 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Infinity was unable to avoid the Cadillac and hit it in the side. The impact sent the Cadillac into the southbound lanes of Route 19 where it came to a stop.
The adult male driver of the Cadillac died at the scene. Police are still in the process of notifying his next of kin.
The adult male driver of the Infinity was taken to Bristol Regional Medical Center for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries.
