Teen arrested, charged with making bomb threat to Bristol VA restaurant


    A juvenile has been jailed and charged with making a bomb threat to a restaurant located in the Exit 7 area of Bristol, Virginia.

    The 17-year-old male suspect reportedly made the call to McDonalds located inside of the Walmart Supercenter at 13245 Lee Highway just after 10 p.m. Sunday night.

    The number used in the call was used by an investigator to track down the name and address of the suspect, the sheriff noted. He continues to be be held in the Highlands Community Detention Center and has a hearing scheduled in Washington County, Virginia Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.
