Bull rider Mason Lowe dies from injuries at event in Denver
Mason Lowe, a competitor on the Professional Bull Riders tour for seven years, died as a result of injuries sustained Tuesday night at the National Western Stock Show in Denver, the PBR announced.
According to media reports, Lowe, 25, was thrown from a bull named 'Hard Times' and the animal then stepped on Lowe's chest. The rider stood up, took a few steps, and then collapsed to the ground.
Lowe was currently ranked as the 18th best rider in the world and grew up in Exeter, Missouri, according to PBR information.
