REPORT: Bayne to split the rest of the season with Kenseth

A blockbuster report out of NASCAR Monday night that involves Tennessee native Trevor Bayne. SB Nation's Jordan Bianchi says Matt Kenseth will return to Roush Fenway racing this season and splitting time with Bayne in the 6 car for the rest of the year.

Bayne, who is from Knoxville, is currently 26th in the standings and has yet to crack the top 10.

Kenseth started his career at Roush and among his accomplishments during his 12 seasons was the 2003 cup series championship .

Roush Fenway has a press conference scheduled for Wednesday morning.
