A Florida teen with ties to the Tri-Cities plans to debut his new LP this weekend with a show in Johnson City.

15-year-old Jacob Reese Thrornton has a show scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 1 at Down Home.

Thornton is a native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida but his father and other family members resided in Johnson City. The guitarist's first solo record was produced by Bob Kulick- brother of former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick and a counselor at Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp held annually in Las Vegas.
