The Museum of the Middle Appalachians held their annual Woolly Mammoth Day on Saturday, January 27th, 2018.
The popular event, which benefits the Museum of the Middle Appalachians included a wonderful breakfast cooked by the Madam Russell Methodist Church, music, door prizes and of course, the weather prognostication from Woolly herself!
What did Woolly predict? Her guess: 6 more weeks of winter!
The annual event is held each year in late January and is the primary fundraiser for the museum. This year's event was the 25th edition. Before Woolly made her guess, Saltville Mayor Todd Young presented Woolly with a certificate recognizing her 25 years of forecasting in the Mountain Empire!
